Mussai-De Santos groups publish a series of publications indicating the major human protein arginase as the next upcoming target in cancer immunology.
Mussai-De Santos groups publish a series of publications indicating the major human protein arginase as the next upcoming target in cancer immunology. 1) Neuroblastoma arginase activity creates an immunosuppressive microenvironment, impairing autologous and engineered immunity. 2) Arginine dependence of acute myeloid leukaemia blast proliferation: a novel therapeutic target. 3) Acute myeloid leukaemia creates an arginase-dependent immunosuppressive microenvironment. The Mussai-De Santos groups and the Dömling laboratory- both members of the IMMUNOCANCER Think Tank - collaborate to develop the first in class arginase inhibitor for immunocancer indication.
